Living with urea cycle disorder (UCD) can feel isolating, but you’re not alone. This video highlights the strength of the UCD community, the importance of support, and the encouragement to ask for help along the journey.
UCD incoming means that there are other families going through the same thing that you're going through and you do not have to do this alone.
You can do this.
You need to listen to your doctors, listen to the advice that they are giving you.
Reach out to the urea cycle disorder community.
We are all here behind you.
We are all here to help you and to listen to you.
It's OK to cry.
It's OK to take a break, it's OK to take care of yourself, even if it's for an hour, but it's OK to ask for help.
Always ask for help.
UCD in Common is becoming a family because we all walk this same path.
That's a difficult path, but if we all join hands and walk it together, we can make it.
